What To Expect
Tuesday, 30 January 2018 09:05

Every Sunday we gather at 10am, young and old and in between, to journey and worship together. There are usually around thirty or so of us, we meet in the Glen Iris Primary School Hall, which is part of our community centre. You don't need to dress up in your Sunday best - it's pretty informal. We use a variety of music - hymns and more contemporary. Most weeks there's a sermon. We welcome children - we want to learn and grow together as a community, and that works best when we are all together. We structure our service to make it as accessible as possible to all ages.

We particularly extend a welcome to noisy children, and are particularly keen on making roughly-rhythmic noise during the singing, and provide musical instruments for precisely that purpose.

Afterwards, morning tea. Except on the first Sunday of the month, when we have communion and stick around to relish the afterglow with our famous community BBQ.
