Hanover Welfare Services is a leading Melbourne based agency which provides services to people experiencing homelessness or housing crisis, helping them to live independently in the community. Hanover believes that homelessness is not merely lack of shelter but is also the loss of the normal supports of home such as personal security, familiarity, and an environment in which self-confidence and personal skills can flourish. Through the Retiring Offering for October the Glen Iris Road Uniting Church raised $660.70 towards the work of Hanover Welfare  Services.
