The Uniting Church Historical Society has invited Prof. Geoffrey Blainey, Australia's leading historian, to speak at the Glen Iris Road Uniting Church Centre on Sunday 19th August at 2 pm. He will talk about significant events he considers have most shaped our belief, practices and church today, and introduce his book 'A Short History of Christianity' which was published by the Penguin Group in late 2011. |
