Fifth Anniversary Celebration |

The first church service held in the new Glen Iris Road Uniting Church & Community Centre was in early June five years ago. So, to celebrate our fifth anniversary in the Centre, we will be having a special morning tea after church on Sunday June 10th. Most appropriately, Rev. Brian Carey will be leading worship on that day. You are very welcome to attend! |

Introducing Alex and Gillian |
|
During 2012 Glen Iris Road Uniting Church is engaged in the process of seeking a new minister. In the meantime we are delighted to have wonderful supply ministers to support us. For three consecutive Sundays in late April and early May we have been thrilled to have Rev Alexandra Sangster leading worship. Alex brings to her services her warmth and passion for her faith and for people, and her pwerful gifts in music and drama. From May 13th until June 3rd we are delighted to welcome Rev Gillian Crozier. Gillian is fondly known to us both as a former minister of Hartwell Uniting Church and as a former member of the Glen Iris congregation. In particular we are very grateful for her skilled and insightful help in 2000 in developing, along with the late Mr Laurie Thorn and Rev Brian Carey, our still-current Vision and Mission statements. These continue to guide our sense of purpose and direction and can be viewed in our hall foyer. |
